For over 40 years, CHROME has fostered an interest from students in grades K-12 in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the Hampton Roads. Sponsors and students work together to create unique and dynamic experiences as they investigate the world around them. To continue our goal to provide such opportunities for our youth, we need YOU to get involved.
Below are ways for you to get involved:
- Alumni – If you ever participated in a CHROME club or served as a CHROME sponsor, please provide us with your contact information so we can reconnect with you.
- Club Sponsor – There are two types of clubs in CHROME. There are school-based clubs and community-based clubs. School based clubs are affiliated with an elementary, middle or high school. Community-based clubs are part of community and may be based at a church or other local entity within a community. Club sponsors are the individuals who oversee the club. They organize programs, projects, activities, etc. for the students to be involved in.
- Board Member – These individuals work together and are responsible for raising funds to support CHROME initiatives, promote CHROME in the Hampton Roads area, and as support CHROME clubs and sponsors.
- Volunteer - Sign up to participate in future CHROME programs and projects.
